"MY TIME ON THE GROUND IN DIVERSE ENVIRONMENTS TAUGHT ME THAT EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION IS 10% WHAT YOU SAY AND 90% HOW YOU UNDERSTAND THE CULTURAL NUANCES BEHIND THE DIALOGUE."
Whether I was conducting ministerial-level negotiations in the Middle East or navigating the industrial landscapes of China, I discovered that my true specialty is finding the "common language" between seemingly incompatible cultures. I don’t just bridge the gap between the public and private sectors; I bridge the gap between different ways of thinking. My time on the ground in diverse environments taught me that effective communication is 10% what you say and 90% how you understand the cultural nuances behind the dialogue.
Whether I was conducting ministerial-level negotiations in the Middle East or navigating the intricate cultural landscapes of China, I discovered that my true specialty is finding the "common language" between seemingly incompatible worlds. I don’t just bridge the gap between the public and private sectors; I bridge the gap between different ways of thinking.
I joined the Teqball journey at its very inception, as the third person to join the founders and remained an operational key figure throughout the sport's global rise. This role was about more than just scaling a brand; it was about ensuring that a visionary idea could survive and thrive in a complex international environment. As the Head of Diplomatic Relations for FITEQ, I turned sport into a diplomatic tool, establishing partnerships with major international bodies like the United Nations and various Olympic Committees.
One of the most profound shifts in my perspective came through my work in humanitarian and refugee programs. These experiences—conducting diplomacy not just in marble halls but in the reality of refugee camps, such as the Zaatari camp—taught me that sports diplomacy is one of the most effective ways to foster resilience and community.
Sharing the Vision Today, I dedicate much of my energy to passing on this global perspective. I have explored the role of a University Teacher, serving as a guest lecturer for international students in sports diplomacy. This allows me to share the practical lessons I’ve learned on the global stage with the next generation of leaders.
Through Consoulution, I continue to help organizations navigate international development, ensuring that my mission remains the same: to find the right dialogue, in the right room, no matter where in the world that room may be.
